Visually.so is a small learning site, so this page is short and plain. It explains exactly what we keep about you, why we keep it, and how to get it removed.

Who is behind this
Visually.so (visually.so) is the operator of this website. We are a visual encyclopedia: you pick a topic, we show you an animated lesson with a step-by-step summary and a short quiz. We are not an advertising business — we make money from memberships, lesson downloads and creator lessons, never from selling your data.
Questions, a copy of your data, or a deletion request? Open the Support page after signing in and send us a message.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, and your name or photo if you sign in with Google.
- What you make: the topics you describe, the lessons you generate, the logo you upload, and whether you choose to keep a lesson private or share it.
- How you learn: which lessons you open, your quiz answers, scores and time taken, and the progress shown on your dashboard.
- What you download: which lesson you saved as a file, video or GIF, and when.
- Usage: which pages you visited, the page that sent you here, and an anonymous visitor code stored in your browser.
- Support: the messages you send us and our replies.
We never ask for your card number. Payment details are handled by the payment provider.
Why we use it
- To give you the lessons, summaries, quizzes and scores you came for.
- To keep your own creations private unless you choose to publish them.
- To remember your progress so a lesson picks up where you left off.
- To see which subjects need more lessons, and to keep the site running smoothly.
- To answer your support messages and keep the library safe and moderated.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertising networks.
Lessons you create and AI
When you describe a lesson, that description is sent to an AI service so the lesson can be written and drawn for you. The finished lesson is stored in your account. Lessons stay private by default; if you choose to publish one to the public library, a moderator reviews it first and it then becomes visible to everyone, including its title, summary and your creator name.
Where your information lives
Your account, lessons, quiz scores and support messages are stored with our hosting and database provider, protected by sign-in and access rules so that other people cannot read your private library. Files you upload, such as your logo, are kept in private storage and are not listed publicly.
Who else sees it
- Our service providers (hosting, AI generation, payments, email delivery), who act on our instructions and only for these purposes.
- Anyone you choose to show a lesson to, or anyone who opens a lesson you published to the public library.
- Authorities, if we are legally required to disclose something.
- A buyer, if the business is ever sold or merged — we would tell you first.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and lessons while your account exists. If you close your account or ask us to delete you, we remove your personal records and your private lessons, except anything we must keep by law or anything already published publicly that cannot be unpublished from copies others kept.
Children
Visually.so is written for curious kids as well as adults, but our accounts are for grown- ups. If you are under 13, please use the site with a parent or guardian who signs up and keeps an eye on it. A parent or guardian can ask us to remove a child's account and data at any time through the Support page, and we will do it.
Your choices
- See the account, lesson, quiz and download records we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong, such as your name or email.
- Delete your account and everything private in it.
- Ask for your data in a file you can take with you.
- Refuse the analytics code, or withdraw a choice you already gave.
Send any of these requests from the Support page. We answer within 30 days.
Keeping it safe
Access requires signing in, private lessons are only readable by their owner, and only a small number of staff (and moderators) can review published lessons. No method of storage is perfect, so please keep your password to yourself and tell us straight away if you think your account was used by someone else.
Changes to this policy
If we change this page we will update the date at the top. If a change meaningfully affects how we use your information, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
